Personal Statement

I'm very ambitious with my goals and aspirations. I'd like to go to a university that has a pre-med or pharmacy program so that I can study medicine and become a physician. My dream school would have a sound academic program and an opportunity to participate in Track & Field (Cross Country). I'm open to D1, D2, D3, and NAIA.

I'm a great candidate for any university because I work hard, study hard, and have a very positive attitude. Any of my past coaches would describe me as coach-able, team player, motivated, and always inspire to do better than my past personal record.  Since I'm only a junior in high school, I believe I can excel way beyond where my current personal records are in the 400, 800, 1600, and 3200 meter races.  I'm self driven and will always look for advise to bring my running to the level of excellence.

My school studies are great and I strive to take difficult classes to improve myself.  I don't ever take shortcuts on anything I do including academics and sports.  I'm a 3 sport athlete in Cross Country, Wrestling, and Track & Field.  I have received numerous honors and medals including the Iron Man Award for participating in 3 or more sports in a school year, Scholar Athlete, Varsity Coaches Award my sophomore year for Wrestling, and miscellaneous medals in Cross Country, Track & Field, and Wrestling.

On my free time, I run 5K and 1/2 marathons to keep in shape and to motivate myself.  I have also attended two J. Robinson Camps for Wrestling these past two summers.

I'd be a great addition to any university team and I would be honored to assist the team in winning a championship.
