Hello my name is Dakota Friedrich and I am a junior outfielder in the graduation class of 2023. I grew up playing multiple sports but found my passion for softball. I have always been taught to leave everything on the field and work as hard as I possibly can every game and practice. I am very dedicated and put a lot of extra work into being the best player I can be, I take hitting lessons, I attend CrossFit twice a week, I attend fielding clinics, and I also put a lot of extra work in on my own. Although softball is very important to me, my academics are just as important. I take many honors classes and have maintained a 4.1 GPA through my years so far of high school. I would love to play softball at the college level and study to be a Lawyer so I am very excited to find the college that fits both of my goals.
I have been so lucky to be surrounded by the best coach's and teammates who push me harder everyday into being the best player I can be. I was honored to make Varsity my freshman year and I was so lucky to be able to learn from all of the upperclassman and push myself to play like them. My coach's have always taught me that mistakes are part of the game and you have to learn from them and keep pushing and that has helped me get to where I am today. I am also a very great leader and help motivate and push everyone on my team to work their hardest and I am always there to motivate them when they make a mistake or when things are not going their way .
Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about me!
-Dakota Friedrich
