I have a concept that drives me deeply, and that concept is our book. We're always writing a book of our lives, of all of the successes, all of the failures, and everything in between. When I reach the end of my life, I want to be proud of that book. That's why I'm constantly working as hard as I can to reach my potential academically, athletically, mentally, and socially. That book is why I went from a 19:29 3 mile my freshman year to a 16:04 my sophomore year, and it's why this year I'm working to bring my team to CIF SS Finals for the first time in over a decade. As Eliud Kipchoge once said, "no human is limited," and I truly believe that. My dreams are insurmountable and my passion for running is insatiable, so no matter what team I'm on or what coach is coaching me I will far surpass the academic demands necessary, I will strive to be a friend and role model for my teammates, and I will run to win.
