I ran for a club in Yorba Linda, named California Performance Runners, for about 7 years before I ran in high school. In high school, I am trying to maintain a high GPA while still enjoying the activities my school has to offer. In collage I want to do my best in running and academics, but I still want to enjoy the collage experience. When I was on the club team, I was not as committed to running as when I started, but as I progressed I saw why people loved to run so much.
I have found over many years of running that when you are on a run it is best not to focus on how far is left and it is better to focus on the people around you because they will make the difference of your run being horrible or amazing. During my practices, I tend to try to lighten the mood by way of conversation and I have found that this helps other people because they forget about the fact that we have to turn around and go back. I started out running by doing 5k races when I was about 5 years old.
