Freshman year was my first every year running competitively, I always wanted to try something new and do something that I've never really tried, I committed to Cross Country and have learned to push myself forward and my teammates to getting stronger and stronger day by day.
I am the captain for Canoga Park Senior High's Cross Country team, I am very determined to not just improve my times but to improve the times of my teammates. I am very hardworking not just on during Cross Country but also in academics, I have a 3.8 GPA and I always work hard to improve my academics just like my cross country season.
As captain I work hard to have my team look up to me, not just in speed but in leadership, I try to keep my team motivated whenever I can before the races, I show great leadership and this season I am trying my hardest to push my team forward to winning 1st place in City.
I want to attend a college that teaches me to push forward, even if times get hard. I believe that college level competition will allow me to push harder and achieve my crazy dreams. I am open to many college options and would love to see what college level has in store for me.
