Ethan Lu '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Ethan Lu and I am currently a senior at Monta Vista high school. I have been on the track and field team for 3 seasons and I run in the 4x1, 110 m hurdles, 300 m hurdles, and 4x400, but my main event is the 110m hurdles. I have been running varsity since freshman year and am currently a hurdles team captain.

Ever since middle school, I have always had a very big passion for track and field and I always enjoyed competing and improving my skills. I also enjoy being part of the track and field community because of the respect and sportsmanship between the athletes. My journey in track has had its ups and downs. During my freshman year, I qualified for my league finals as the first alternate and I was the only freshman who qualified in the league. Then as a sophomore I qualified for league finals but barely didn’t make it to central coast sectionals, and this year I was a qualifier for the central coast section semi-finals.
