My senior year in high school will mark my 10th year as a cross country runner. I think my best quality as an athlete is my tenacity, as I have sustained injuries that cost me two track seasons but I have stayed consistent in improving my cross country times. I was team captain of my high school's cross country team during my junior year in 2021.
In school, I take AP and Honors classes and have written two one-hour scripts for my school's theatre department. I aspire to earn a master's degree in psychology and then move on to earn my PsyD with the goal of becoming a clinical psychologist.
I am vice president of my high school's GSA for which I have created informational posters/banners, planned fundraising events, and spoken at community board meetings. I am my high school's Link Crew publicity coordinator and I digitally design flyers to advertise freshman events. I also manage my track and cross country team's social media.
