I am a 5’11”, 140 lb mid distance runner for Marin Catholic High School. I have been running track since the beginning of my high school career and love it a lot. I run track with my club track team, Marin Waves, in the summer. I also run varsity cross country for my high school and club soccer on top of that in the fall. I also do preseason training on top of varsity high school soccer in the winter. I made it to North Coast Section Meet Of Champions as a Freshman my first year of track for the open 400 and for the 4x400. I anchored my 4x400 team my Sophmore year and got us to North Coast Section Meet Of Champions. I love running and pushing my limits as a runner to become faster and faster. I think that my 4.0 and my tough work ethic makes me a good candidate for a good school with a great track team. This year I mainly focused on the 400 but when my coach asked me to run an 800 I was totally open to it and then I ended up running a 2:01 my first and only time running it. It is my dream to run in college for a good team and I will work as hard as it takes for me to make that dream come true. I am optimistic and open to where I end up in college and what major I will pursue. I received the MVP award for my high school track team this year for my team spirit, my hard work ethic and my leadership as a teammate on the team. I believe in the important of being honest and working hard. If it’s waking up at 5:30 in the morning to working on starts till the sun goes down I enjoy putting in the work to achieve my goals.
