Aaron Oriel '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Aaron Oriel and I’m a junior at Twelve Bridges High School in Lincoln, California. I have been competing at the varsity level since freshman year and my events are the 100m, 200m & Long Jump. I grew up idolizing my cousin who ran track all the way up until the collegiate level. She opened the door and showed me what track was all about. Now, track is my passion and over the years, it’s taught me a lot about myself and it instilled values such as having discipline, working hard, and wanting to get better everyday. As a captain of my high school team, my leadership skills include helping my teammates get better as well as making sure everyone feels comfortable and a part of the team. Being a student athlete has helped shape me into the person I am today. I hope to continue my academic and athletic career at the collegiate level and be a part of a program where I can continue to grow as an athlete and a person.
