Lukas Affeltranger '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lukas Affeltranger, and I am a 5' 7" track and field and football athlete, at Tamalpais High in Mill Valley, California.  Usually being surrounded by taller and bigger competitors in most of my games and races, I have always had to work twice as hard to win, which has become a part of my everyday work ethic.  Running and training is my passion, and I wouldn't know what to do without it.  During track season I feel genuinely happier and uplifted throughout the day and always find myself looking forward to practice, after a long day stuck in the classroom.  I hope to continue running track and field throughout college because I would definitely miss the training, the sense of family and most of all the competition.
