I did not make the soccer team as freshman !!! This hurt a lot, but never complained to anyone. I decided I needed to prove myself, so I focused my energy at track - wanted to be good at as many events as possible. I'm now doing great at triple, long , 400M and 200M.
I'm currently a freshman at a very small design and technology oriented school in California, track is not really popular there, we do not have our own track field , our coaches are mostly volunteers, but they taught me to not look for excuses, but take advantage of what ever is given to me.
I'm looking to continue doing track in college and am looking for a school with a coaching staff that can take me to the next level in training.
