January 2020 Personal Statement
My name is Ryan Bentley; I am a future graduate of Orange Lutheran High School from Orange County, California. I have been high jumping for three years. I love to compete on the field and strive for academic success in the classroom. I have improved my PR by 6 inches this season resulting in a PR of 6’6”. I plan to accomplish more, focus on my strength training to achieve a new personal record and devote myself fully in order to reach my full potential before graduating in 2020.
Equally important to me are my academics; I currently have a 3.3 GPA. I wish to attend a college where I can continue to improve my high jumping skills and be challenged in the classroom. I want to be a leader on and off the track, setting an example to those around me. I believe with my determination and dedication I can achieve anything.
