Rowan Henige '24 Recruiting Profile

As I runner, I never started out great, or even mediocre. I was one of the worst runners on my team, running a 22:32 in a 2.95 mile course called Crystal springs. But that didn't stop me, I perservered. Through commitment, Not backing down to challenges, and telling myself I could do more, I worked to become one of the best runners in my schools history, as a junior, and brought that Crystal time all the way down to 16:06, and one my league, and I'll bring it down even further. I'm not asking to get a scholarship or even recruitment, but if you give me a chance, I won't let you down. The same way I did in high school, I love that feeling of having those better than me, but working hard with them, and building myself towards getting better everyday, working harder and finding that I can improve even further. I love that feeling of growth and seeing my work turn out, and I know that if you let me into your system, I can become someone truly talented.
