I'm on the verge of getting multiple associates degrees at Lane Community College and I'm in their track and field program. I did cross country earlier this year.
I trained on my own last year (freshman year of college) and improved enough to make it on the top 7 of my cross country team (earlier this school year, 2021-2022) and contribute to winning the NWAC Championship.
In track (2021-2022), I was recognized as athlete of the week across all the athletes in NWAC, for week 7 (Spring term). I did this by achieving consistent PRs through most of my races.
My plan is to transfer to OSU and join their club team while working towards a degree in engineering. If opportunities present themselves in terms of better PRs AND significant sport-scholarships, I'll consider the options of attending other schools; otherwise, I'm not interested.
Thank you for showing interest and reading this.
