Hi, my name is Sean Neumann and I’m currently in my senior year at California High School. Junior year was a big step in my track and field career, and while the season was shortened due to Covid, I made sure to stay determined and not let the shortened season keep me from improving my times and becoming a better athlete. I’m a great teammate and role model for the new kids on our XC team this year, and I love having a great time with all of my teammates, on and off the track. Junior year was my first year focusing on the 400M in which I managed to run 51.92, I’m looking forward to seeing how much I can improve in year two of focusing on the 400M
While Track is my main sport, I also run cross country, where I’ve made the varsity team 2 of the 3 years I’ve run for cal high, and my teammates are a second family to me. I believe that cross country is a place where I can be myself with my friends, and also improve my endurance, which I need for the 400 this senior year for XC is shaping up to be a fast one for our team, and I’m up for the challenge to both run hard, and motivate everyone around me to try their best!
