I was always pretty fast, I did well in the mile in elementary school, but I never really started running until freshman year of high school. Sports have always been a love of mine since I was little in a tri-sport camp at the local park. I played soccer, basketbal, tennis, and more and even spent my days watching sports. When I eventually got to high school, my football or basketball playing days had been gone for quite a while so I figured in addition to soccer it would be fun to try cross country, and since no one really gets cut, it wouldn’t be that stressful. Since then, I realized that running is my best chance of being really good athletically, which has always been my dream. In that time, I have also grown to love running. Without cross country and track, my whole life would be very different, and probably worse off. I think with my willingness to work as hard as I can in everything I do, academically and athletically, would make me a good addition to many programs out there. I hope that I can live out my goal of high level athletics and academics in the coming years.
