Eduardo Banuelos '16 Recruiting Profile

I am tenacious and influence others. Freshmen year of highschool I tried out for my schools cross country team. I was at the bottom of the team, the last one to finish the warm up, and sometimes not be able to complete it. However that following summer I trained hard under my coach, aiming for just a spot on our varsity team. The final result of it was me improving from a 20:49 5K time to a 16:48 and receiving the coach's award, All American, and also my varsity letter. I have been 3 years on varsity, and captian 5 consecutive seasons. I come from a family that struggles financially and none of my family members have attended at a university. This empowers my determination and fuels the tenacity that keeps me on the track to success.
