Winning leagues as a team once and as a individual twice has been the highlight of my cross country career so far. I have always loved winning but haven't one a race like that in a while because in March of 2022 broke my ankle sitting me out from running for about 2 months. But, while my ankle was healing I was doing other things; such as riding a bike, swimming, strength and mobility training for my ankle. This has helped my discipline and attitude as an athlete not allowing me too lay back and do nothing, but do something to make me better. This has brought me so much experience that has helped me grow a s a person. I have always been known by my coaches and team mates now and coaches and team mates then that I am one of if not the hardest worker out on the track, roads, trails, and race courses.
I have been fortunate enough to be apart of this amazing program these past three years. I still have one more left and can't wait to see what records I can break and what I can accomplish. So far I have learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifices, and leadership. But, on to the college side of things. I am looking for a school that will allow me too succeed the furthest into my running career but also allow me to attain the most amount of knowledge as possible. As a three sport athlete and 2 time captain throughout my high school career I have learned what it takes to be a leader on your team. I can also promise you I will do everything in my power to allow me to create your program into a winning program.
