Jasiel Tovar '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Jasiel Tovar, I am from Johnstown Colorado and REALLY love to run. It all started when I was getting towards the end of my 8th grade year and track sign ups were happening. I wasn’t so sure if track was going to be my thing but sure enough I brought the sign up sheet home and my mom motivated me to do it. Ever since then, I really have fallen in-love with the sport and the rewards that it gives. My goals are to strive for better PR’s while also growing as a student-athlete in and out of the classroom. My aspirations are to earn the wonderful opportunity to run at the next level. I embrace the lessons of discipline, leadership, and hard-work both on and off the track which is what separates me from the rest.
