A little bit about me…I am from Colorado. I originally went to Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, KS. After that I then transferred to the University of Charleston to attain my Bachelor of Administration with a Major in Management. I ran at Hutchinson CC as well as my current school, the University of Charleston. I looking for a place to attain my MBA preferably in Entrepreneurship. The last time I competed at an outdoor track meet was in 2019, but plan on competing this outdoor track season. From my 2019 season my main focus was the 1500m were I ran 3:58 at Hutchinson CC (Sophomore). I also ran XC at Hutchinson CC. At Hutchinson I attained Academic All American and ran at 5 national championship meets where I was a part of All American relays. At Charleston, in 2019, during XC I ran 25:34 for 8k. I was able to attain All-Conference as well during our conference meet. The team qualified for the NCAA Championships were I also ran there, although I didn’t have a good race. Last fall we had several track time trails one of which I ran about 15:13 for 5k. Currently, I am in XC here at the University of Charleston and my first track meet will either be this weekend or next. I feel that I am in much better shape than I was last Cross Country season and I feel I am in better shape than I was last fall. I feel that my workouts and times I have been hitting prove that, as well as my 3 XC races I have run this season. I feel that this season is a breakout year for me. A couple goals I have for outdoor track include sub 14:40 in the 5k and 3:52 in the 1500m.
Ideally, I want to be in a program that pushes me to run better and also pushes me as a person. I feel that I can contribute more than just running. I have been involved in several extracurricular activities outside of running and feel I can be a great asset to your team.
