Brian Barrios '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Brian Barrios, I am a first-gen student of the class of 2023 at Middletown High. My main events are throwing Shot put, Discus, and Javelin. But this year I decided to try pole vaulting and distance running because I love each and every aspect of track since it's all one sport with many roles.  I study animal sciences and am a part of the FFA program.  I am an ambitious/hardworking student in school and at sports. I train hard and study harder, I tend to take harder classes because I personally like a challenge but my passion is animals and science. Unlike most students, I have school spirit and like to guide other students and athletes when a challenge arises. I tend to help my colleagues study for exams or labs or help others when an issue occurs. Lastly think that I am a well-rounded student because I am caring, empathetic, and most times selfless because I put others ahead of my needs and therefore I make a great teammate or student.
