I am a 6'4' junior. I am a hurdler in my 5th year of competitive running. I have gone to Nationals 3 times for hurdling (July of 2009, March of 2011, July of 2011). I qualified in 2010 for Nationals but wasn't able to attend. To date my best times have been, 8.4 for the 55 high hurdles, 15.54 for the 110 high hurdles, 40.43 (10th Place) for 300 Meter hurdles at New England Championships. I also run a 50.2 for the 4x400 at New England's. I was a captain for multiple seasons in my middle school career. I have been the track captain for multiple seasons now for high school. Training to my fullest in Track, and academics are my two top priorities. My current GPA is a 3.83, and rising. Running is in my blood. My father was offered to run at both Harvard and Yale. He eventually went and graduated from Yale University and was one of the top in the nation. I am looking for a school that has a close balance between competitive running and academics. Ideally, I would like to attend a medium to large school, because of the diversification that would be offered. I am leaning towards a criminal justice or law major. Although financial assistance might not be necessary, I would still like to know what financial assistance is available. I am pretty much open to any school in the country - geographic location is really not an issue. I am a leader, a team player, one of the hardest and committed people you'll encounter, who loves to lead and nurture a winning spirit in other people.
