My name is Myles Hall, and currently I am one of the senior captains for track and field at Saint Joseph’s High School in Trumbull, CT. I am entering my fourth year of track and believe that I am a valuable asset to the team. For example some qualities I have are leadership, the will to compete at the highest level, and confidence. Most of my teammates say I am there favorite captain because I am able to relate situations back into their own lives so they understand. Sophomore year is when I first started hurdling and from there I have only improved. In my first meet ever doing hurdles, I qualified for states but there was still room for a lot of improvement because I was just starting out. Junior year, I improved a lot compared to my sophomore season and I made it to state opens but came up short yet again. This season, my goal is to keep improving and to become one of the top hurdlers in the state but not only for myself, but for my school. I want to prove that St. Joseph’s has come along way and can be just as competitive in track as we are in other sports. I believe that with the help of my family, friends, faith, and coach, that I can achieve every goal that I set out to achieve and hopefully, one of those goals is to compete at the collegiate level.
