Grace Hickey '21 Recruiting Profile

I am looking to go to a college that will give me the opportunity to fulfill both my educational and athletic goals.  I would prefer to attend a school that has around 5,000 undergrad students, however if a larger school felt right I would definitely look into it.  As a major, I am looking for something in the fields of either nursing or psychology.  I definitely want to attend a school where I can play soccer. Soccer has been a huge part of my life from a very young age. It has taught me many valuable life lessons, such as team work, failure, victory, and perseverance. Each of these aspects have shaped me into the person I am today. On the field I am very vocal and try to guide my team mates and lead us to victory. I became a goalie around age nine and have not stopped since. I love the feeling of blocking the shot everyone thought would go in, it makes me feel invisible. I want to carry these attributes into my college career, and to be a apart of not only a team but a family.
