I am a 5'10, 165 pound track runner from Dover, Delaware. I first started running track in 8th grade. Now I'm one of the leading captains for our boys team. Being a leader is a great thing because some of the younger runners on the team look up to us so we as veterans have to set an example for them to follow. I make sure no one is slacking and I push everyone to do their best. Running track at the college level has been my dream since I started running track. Watching guys like Usain Bolt run and break records was amazing to me. That's one thing that drives me on the track is to be at that level or better. In my first outdoor track season at Dover High School I qualified to run in conference and states. At the conference track meet we received 3rd and at the state track meet we received 2nd. I currently run the 100 meter, 200 meter, 4x200 meter, and the 4x100 meter. My personal record for the 100 meter is 11.2 and for the 200 meter it is 22.8. I have a 3.0 GPA. I am looking for college where I can have the perfect balance between my classes and the track. I would like to go to a college where there is a high academic reputation in the field of business/marketing. Personally, my athletic environment would be somewhere that I could have an impact and be an important part of the team. I think my best fit would be at a D2 level right now.
