Isaiah Martin '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Isaiah Martin. I'm currently a senior at Stranahan Hogh school. Ever since watching Track as a little kid with my grandma, I have always been interested in it. I have been running track since the 6th grade.  Since the start of 9th grade, my high school track season has been a rough ride. 9th we did not have a boys coach. 10th grade still didn't have a boys coach and the pandemic hit. Stilled continued to train but was very limited because the most facility was closed.  Still continued through the summer but most places were closed. In my 11th-grade year, we finally got a coach and I started to see rapid improvement ever since. This taught me patience and determination. It also taught me how to have a growth mindset. I believe I would be a great asset to compete for a college team just for my talent and hard work because I have leadership skills and a great work ethic.
