I am a multi-event athlete, doing events such as the 100m, 200m, 400m, Long Jump, Javelin, and Discus. I'm a multi-event county champion In Javalin, 100m, Long Jump, and 4x100m. A multi-event regional qualifier in the javelin, 100m, Long jump, and 4x100m. Florida State Championship qualifier.
All of these are a combination of my hard work growing as not only as a person but also as an athlete. Going to the state championships my junior year has only made me want to strive for it again and work even harder than I have in the past. As a small 1A school, we lack the proper funding to have the extra training and opportunity as we don't have an indoor season and no specific coaches for our events. Unfortunately with the lack of proper coaching almost all of my techniques are self-taught. But I feel this has only taught me to strive for success regardless of my position in life I'm always willing to take in any coaching and criticism that comes my way.
