Hello, my name is Mateo Luna, I am now a very passionate runner but it wasn't always that way. Growing up I played every sport I could and thought that baseball was my thing until I started doing swimming and running and eventually triathlons. I found that the "Racing" sports is what I excel and would love to do at the highest level Possible. In 2019 at the age of 15 years old I was able to come in first and be the National Champion at the USA Triathlon Youth and Junior Competition in Westchester, Ohio. Also, Earlier that same summer I was able to qualify and compete at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor Track meet against some of the fastest freshman in the nation at the 800m distance. Those accomplishments are awesome in my opinion but are not what I go around telling everyone because I am a devote Christian who humbly serves the Lord My God in every way I can, (actions, talents, and words). It would be awesome to be able to compete at the highest level in College and through my next few seasons I hope that through my God I am able to go all the way with my talents and help out with the best team that accepts me, Thank you.
