Sydney Masi '22 Recruiting Profile

I am going into my senior year at Indian Rocks Christian School in Largo, FL.     I've floated between center back and defensive center mid my entire competitive soccer career.  I feel this has given me the ability to defend and understand angles against players who are bigger, stronger, faster than me, and also forced me to play with my head up and find passes quicker with all the central midfield play.    I'm most comfortable at Center Back and feel my strength is game understanding,  positional discipline, and playing out quickly to transition us into attack.  My club and high school teams are both very solid defensively and I feel that my contribution is a large part of that success.

Aside from Soccer, I enjoy reading, working out, and staying up to date on my school work. I currently have a 3.9 GPA un-weighted, and I am eager to see where I stack up with SAT and ACT's. I'm a hard worker, with a positive attitude, who wants to learn both in the classroom and on the field.
