Hello, my Name is Diego Herrera. I am in the class of 2024 at Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Orlando, Florida. I began track as a Freshman and Cross Country as a Sophomore. I was a two-sport athlete (soccer and running) since my freshman year and varsity in both since my Junior year. However, since my Sophomore year I realized how much I had fallen in love with running and finishing my Junior year I decided to dedicate myself to running only.
I have the drive and dedication to running that comes from my willingness to push myself to excel. I believe that I have the talent and I know that I display the effort to compete at the Collegiate level. As one of the youngest students in the class of 2024 at my school, I believe that my potential for growth is still ahead of me as I continue to push myself to improve every time I am on the track.
I plan to major in Computer Science as I believe the field of technology is well suited to my skills.
I am a person of honesty and integrity that will always give 100% in what I do.
I am a very coachable student-athlete that believes in listening and learning from those that have a vested interest in my future and well being. My coaches in all my sports have always complimented me on my ability to apply what I am being taught with a positive attitude.
I am looking forward to talking to coaches that are looking for a student-athlete that is hungry to succeed on the track and in the classroom!
Best regards,
Diego Herrera
