Hello, I am Jaylan Robinson, and I am from Orlando, Florida. I am currently a senior in high school and in the graduating class of 2021. I am a track athlete. Track is a family sport. My father’s family has a history of runner’s, so it became a natural interest for me. I am a dedicated runner and I have been running track since I was a little kid. It was in middle school that learned that I loved to compete. Track changed from just running to something exciting when I won first place in the 200m race in the seventh grade. I realized that I could compete and loved to compete. I am currently on the varsity track team at the First Academy. I have been running for four years now. I am a sprinter, and my best event is the 400m. I am really competitive when it involves track, and I would like to compete with other people. My most memorable accomplishment for track to date was earning back-to-back state championship’s during my freshman (2018) and sophomore (2019) season’s. In college, I would love to represent a school in track during my collegiate years. I desire to become a specialist in the 200- and 400-m race. I know that with proper coaching and the proper challenging; I can become a championship runner and be an added asset to someone’s team.
