Personal Statement
I am committed to working hard at whatever I am doing whether that be Track, Academics, or any other aspect of my life. I try to emulate my life to that of Christ's, and I believe my Christ-like character (which anyone who knows me can attest to) would be beneficial to any program. Despite being relatively new to the sport of track starting my sophomore year, I have had early success becoming the best distance runner on Mainland's District Championship winning team last year. While achieving this, I maintained a 4.23 GPA (2nd in my class), and competed in Basketball and Cross Country at Mainland High School. My collegiate goals are still uncertain, however for my Senior year I am focusing on running under 2 minutes in the 800m, and doing well at states in the 4x8000m.
