Alin Joseph '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alin Joseph and with great confidence I can say that I will be an asset to both a track team and a college. I have dreamed about college since I was a young kid. Growing up tough, I imagined college being my greatest adventure, the place where I come into my own, the place I make my dreams come true. I have a deep passion for education and sports, with a mindset of balance and excellence. My college aspirations are many, from being on the Dean’s list to seeing my name on a jersey and people cheering for me in the stands. College was not modeled or talked about in the home I grew up in, so I will pave my own way, make myself proud and honor my purpose throughout.  I believe deeply in my potential and won’t let anything stop me from becoming the greatest version of myself. I will be a doctor one day. A Pediatric or General Surgeon who helps his community and gives back. College is where I will propel myself into indepence, freedom and identity. 

I will be a good candidate for your team because I do not quit. I do not settle for average. I do not let opportunity just pass me by. As mentioned before, I grew up really hard and still, I persevere. I am up at 6 am for school, and return home around 9 pm after hours of practice and studying. I want it. I want more than anything to prove to myself that I am capable of anything no matter where I came from. I want to teach the kids my neighborhood that too. I am different and I am fighting for something. What more can you ask for than a man who is desperate for greatness and will work endlessly to achieve it? I am a team player and an encourager. I am passionate about unity and people. I will make you proud. I am an honest man who stands on truth,education and compassion. Teachable with a hunger to learn. Respectful with a heart to be successful. Consistent and committed.There may be recruits who are faster, maybe some who are smarter. But I am ready to take myself and my team to levels not yet reached. I would be honored to be considered by your school.
