Garrett Roesel '22 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a Junior at the Lovett School in Atlanta, Georgia where the emphasis is on academic excellence and allows me to balance that with continuous athletic development as I prepare for college.  My current focus for college is to continue as a student athlete where my interest is in an Engineering major and participating in track where my strengths will be in my Hammer experience that I have gained through Club track with Throw 1 Deep.  As a Throws athlete, I  pride myself in my technique, being athletic with a strong work ethic and very coachable.  In my Junior Year, I look to get stronger and add speed/agility to my training as my technique continues to improve.  In competition, I look to make some big gains where I want to throw the Hammer in the 160-175' range and the Discus in the 150-160' range.  I have participated at USATF National Events and look forward to resuming that participation post Covid restrictions.  I am looking forward to talking and learning from College Coaches about opportunities at the next level where I can make an impact to a program.
