Henok Gugssa '22 Recruiting Profile

I want to further my education and go to a good college where I can get a degree and play sports also. Since joining track and field in the 9th grade, I know that hard work and dedication is the key to success. I myself am a dedicated student athlete and love what I do. Whatever institution that I get in, I'll promise to give my all and nothing less. I always try to motivate the ones close to me in class and on the track/trail so that they can see that they can do anything when they put the work in. I do well in my classes and have very good grades. I take AP classes and classes that challenge me so that I can always be learning more new things. I'm on the honor roll in high school and never failed a class before. I just want to make my parents proud and make them see that I'm going places in life. By getting a scholarship to a great school, I'll be doing that plus I can get a degree and run at the same time.
