Personal Statement
I started running competitively in middle school and found a passion for the sport. I've had the honor to be a part of a state championship team, where I continue to advance my times and sportsmanship. During the beginning of my sophomore year I broke my arm and and continued to run through the season. When I got my cast off in the mid season of cross country, my adversity made me thrive to get better and continue to push myself further. With my experience with team leadership and overcoming adversities; I would be a great fit for your cross country program.
