I started running my eighth grade year and have aspired to run in college and the Olympics since then. Getting to run in college would be a huge opportunity for me to improve a lot and would help me get closer to my goal of running in the Olympics one day.
I have a fast start but I'm still able to maintain my fast pace throughout the race and finish strong. I am very personable. There is hardly a time when I'm not happy. I'm the type of guy that makes people laugh and gets everyone hyped up. For example, I'm energetic and go around to my teammates and say positive things to motivate them before a meet or training. I am very supportive of my team. For example, I didn't qualify for sectionals, but I went anyway to cheer on my teammates that did qualify. I am very coachable and I work really hard to become the best runner I can be. For me, academics come before athletics. In the class, I always make sure to do my work and study a lot so I can keep a high GPA.
I want to attend a college where I can pursue to become an engineer. Ultimately, I want to go to a college that's best for me and at the highest level of competition possible.
