I started track at a late age, I started at 13 in 7th grade. At first I was just an extra on the team and would only run the 400 or the 4x1 relay. After 7th grade I started to get more serious about track, in 8th grade I asked my coach to teach me how to hurdle right before semester break. This is where my love for track began. The past years I have been dedicated to running track and getting better at it. During my freshman year the spread of COVID-19 started to get worse and I lost a whole season. After 10th grade track season started, I started to progress, my time with from 18 to 15 in a matter of weeks in the 110 hurdles and 47 to 41 in the 300mh. Now I am currently a junior and I am looking forward to going to college and competing for the NCAA. All of the drive and dedication will go towards accomplishing my goal.
