Hey, my name is Jordan Tolbert. I have been running track since the 6th grade and it has stuck with me ever since. My love for competition has increased throughout the years and track has been a great way for me to showcase my eagerness to compete and my drive to win in all that I do. I attended my state sectionals my 9th grade year in the 300m and 110m hurdles but sadly didn't have a fast enough time to qualify for the state track meet. Later my 10th grade year my track season was cut short due to COVID as my complete 10th grade track season was canceled. In 11th grade my previous year I was able to qualify for both the 300m and 110m hurdle events and placed 8th in the state 110m hurdles and 6th in the state for 300m hurdles. This year I have been training early ahead of my season in hopes of taking 1st place in both of my hurdle events. I am a hardworking and inspired runner, I am motivated by my drive for victory and when I want something I know how to apply myself to go get it. I hope to have the chance to speak with many coaches with the possibility of continuing my track and field journey at the next level.
