I have a strong passion for sports and fitness, but favor track and field because it is an individual sport; meaning my success as well as my failures are not dependent upon anyone else but myself. I make it a priority to respect and help my team mates to achieve a common goal, but strive to be one of the best...if not the best student athlete on the track as well as off of it. I naturally value the ability to always humble myself. Watching out for being too arrogant for my own good. Although track is my passion I have other aspirations as well which includes journey of going to medical school to become a surgeon. Lastly despite my beliefs of helping myself before I can help others, I see giving back to my community as a priority rather than it being a secondary chore because ,for one, it makes me feel good doing right my others especially if they have done right for my own best interest. “do unto others as you would have them do unto you” (Matt. 7:12)
