Alfred McGuire '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Isaiah McGuire! I started running track my freshman year of high school, and cross country my 6th grade year. From the moment I started running, I loved it, and it made me feel alive. Fast forward to now and my love for it has grown, as it’s allowed me to have a platform to give exposure to my sports around my city, as well as allowing me to grow as a leader. I’m incredibly coachable, and always looking for ways to improve my abilities on the track, the course, or in the classroom. After high school, I am looking to major in journalism, with the goal of one day becoming a sports journalist or sports broadcaster, so that I can share my love of sports with others and deliver my viewpoints on everything happening in the sports world. I would love to continue my journey in track to the next level, wherever that may take me, with the goal to bring a larger spotlight to any program that would have me, and to increase my skills to their highest, whatever that may be!
