Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Jeremiah Parks, a blessed young male. I have participated in track and field ever since my sophomore year in high school. Even though I would feel very appreciative for any college or university who offered me, I truly believe that I can go division 1 based on two key things: my determination and character. I am one of the first to arrive at practice, and one of the last one to leave; this is because I believe that I should take advantage of every little opportunity presented to me in order to improve. I also believe in living up to the term student-athlete by excelling in the classroom first before I excel on the track. That is why I would like to attend a school with either a well-known business program or a well-known social sciences program that can help me succeed with my major of choice.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
