Hello! I am a very dedicated runner who first started running off and on as a hobby in 4th grade, although I didn't start training and racing competitively until my 8th grade season. I primarily focus on middle distance in track (800m and 1500/1600/mile related distances) while trying to have a little bit more fun with cross country and use it as a good place to build up the good ole' aerobic system for track(although I do still take cross country seriously). I have a lot of natural speed, and so I've been trying to put a little bit more focus into the distance oriented aspects of my training to try to balance out my strengths and weaknesses. I'm also a social butterfly and I love having fun teammates who also take running seriously at the same time. In fact, some of my best memories during high school have been made with my running friends on easy run days. I'm pretty much the team leader of our high school track and cross country teams, and I would say that I do a good job of bringing everyone together and developing a sense of comradery within the team. I am a very competitive runner, and I give it everything I have whenever I need to do so. I'm looking to be an 800m state champion in the 2024 track season :)
