Robert Russell '22 Recruiting Profile

Former NFL player Ray Lewis once said that even though a lion is not the biggest, nor fastest nor smartest,  the lion is still recognized as the king of the land due to his strong mentality. 

I believe that my hard working mentality and my never quit attitude along with a teachable spirit is what any coach can use on a team. I will bring a will to work from day one until I improve in any all aspects of my performance. 

Being able to  dual enrolled in highschool, coming from a not so gifted household, has really  taught me the importance of perseverance, grit, and humbleness. I apso know that everything is not handed to you and that in some cases  you have to work twice as hard to get half the recognition.  I carry that same mentality in the classroom as I do on the track.
