I am a High School Track and Field Sprinter. This is my third year running competitively. I am self-driven, hard worker, a leader on and off the Track, respectful, confident, a team player and most of all I am ready to learn. Some people who have influenced who I am is watching Odell Beckham Jr and how he is driven to be the greatest and does not give up on his craft. My Mom influences my life daily. She works hard as a military service member and does not let anything slow her down which is how I inspire to be. I am determined every day to grow and make the next day better than the first one. I am a Student Athlete with my academics at the forefront. My academic goals for high school is to make the Principal's list and for college I will strive to become the best in my class and have all A’s. My athletic goal is to run track at the collegiate level. I first became interested in the sport when I was watching it on YouTube and I simply wanted to give it a try. I have developed a love and passion for the sport. I have learned running is not as simple as I initially thought it was going to be. I learned you need to have a lot of mental discipline to play this sport and it does not come easy. I must work hard all the time and know I am running against the clock and not the person next to me. Some obstacles I have had to overcome are being able to adapt quickly as I am a military child. Having that strong foundation and example displayed daily in my life is where I get my strong worth ethic from. In addition to Track and Field, I played Varsity High Football in my Sophomore year in high school in Okinawa, Japan as a Tail Back. I have Kobe Bryant’s Mamba Mentality to strive for excellence academically and athletically.
