I'm a new runner, I'm finishing my second year of competitive competition. Before I started to engage in the running sports I played soccer, I went out for the local cross country team at my school, which I competed in as well as my soccer team in the Fall season. The next year I continued to play soccer and compete in running sports, then made the decision soon after the cross country season ended, to end my soccer career and compete in only cross country and track. I want to improve, and I know the only way to do that is through training hard, but smart to avoid injuries. I know that hurting during a workout means that it's going to help me see results in races, I always look forward to doing so.
I want to pursue a career of engineering, so I'd like to find a college capable of supporting my academics and athletic goals.
