My name is Davis Larsen, I am from a small town in Idaho called Malad, there are about 300 kids in my school so I've been able to grow close to all my teachers and fellow students, however, this is not necessarily the environment that I am looking for in a college. I wish to be part of a team that has great comradery and will help me grow as an individual as well as an athlete. As a student-athlete I have learned the importance of hard work both on and off the field and I strive to be the best I can at all times. I know how to get things done when I need to which translates into a lot of hard work when I have a goal in mind. I was unable to compete in high jump both my sophomore and senior year due to the fact that I built a new house in my sophomore year and the COVID epidemic my senior year, and I also had no coach for my event both of the years that I was able to compete. I am self-trained so I know that if I work hard and have a good coach I can excel in the high jump at the college level.
