I started running track in the 8th grade and fell in love with the sport ever since I started. My sophomore I grew even more love for the sport and started visioning myself running and competing myself in college and further. While doing track I have learned a lot about myself. I have learned hard work, dedication, perseverance to name the least. Track has been and is a big part of my life and what I do. Something that makes me different compared to other athletes is that I learn the fundamentals and improve myself after. Another thing is that I strive to do the proper techniques and mechanics in every drill, event and in the weight room. I feel that I am a great candidate to compete in college and am excited for the challenges and great adventures that come along with being a student-athlete.
