My name is Marquette J McShane I have had a thing for running since what I can remember. Before I even started track my sophomore year when I worked up the courage to do, so I use to always challenge my friends to who can run to the bus first. During my sophomore year of track I was able to play for the first half of the season until something came up with family which made me miss out. Even tho I didn’t play my Junior year I still ran at least 10 miles every week whether it was from sneaking on the track or running around the block using the app known as “Charity Miles”. Some see running as a way to just get in shape but besides that I see it as a way of pushing yourself to know your limits and maybe overcome them. Some say speed is key but persistence is all that matters and giving it your all. You may be looking for athletes who have ran 5-6y+ but if you give me a chance to run for your school you won’t be let down.
