Owen Myers '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello!  My name is Owen Myers and I want to pole vault for your school.  I am a outstanding candidate for your team because of my strong work ethic in the classroom and when I compete athletically.  I am a great teammate with a love and passion for the sport.  Every year I continue to push myself and improve.  I am the captain of my cross country team and push my teammates to do their best everyday.  Throughout my high school athletic career I have help my teams win 4 conference championships. I have been named all conference 3 times, individual conference champion, all county, regional placer, regional qualifier and semi-state qualifier.  

Most importantly in just my second year pole vaulting I was able to jump 12’6”.  I was able to clear 13’6” in a competition in Lexington, KY this summer and 14’ in practice. My best vaulting is yet to come!  I can't wait to see what my future holds for me my senior season and with whatever college decides to ask me to join their team in 2023.
